# of Friends
I decided to run a survey among my friends. Usually, our conversations start with questions, but this time the topic is rather serious. I have to wait for the sun to set and night to fall. When it’s dark, I’ll ask my question.
Here it is: “How many friends do you have?”
I’m not asking about the number of your social media followers or the people you follow.
Don’t start counting people from your professional or social circles.
Let me elaborate on my question a little more.
When you share your happiness, how many of your friends can share that happiness with you without feeling envious?
Now, reverse the question:
How many friends do you have with whom you don’t share your happiness just to brag or prove that you’re successful? We’re working by elimination.
And, let’s move on to the next stage.
How many friends can you tell your problems to without holding anything back, safe in the knowledge that they won’t take pleasure in your troubles or tell anyone else just to gossip?
Have you counted?
I did. Then I felt really upset.
What about your election results?
